Technology

The operation of the devices is based on indicating and  interpreting magnetic fields utilizing induction.

In TIP 20, TIP 30 and TIP EASY the identification signal is fed into inspected  cable. In TIP EASY the cable is placed into a duct or pipeline. With small, portable receiver the exact place of the cable is located. TIP 20 is equipped as well with adjustable DC voltage, so called hold voltage. Both the hold voltage and the identification signal is fed to the inspected cable as well as the transmitter. The signal induced to the locator coil is amplified in the receiver and the cable route and fault location and be indicated.

Our devices are very easy to use and they do not need a  network in order to operate. Cable fault location is easy, simple and fast with  our TIPTECK equipment.

In cable fault locator TIP 10 the signal is sent through the transmitter coil. The transmitter is connected to the cable, to which the  signal sent by the coil is induced. This induced signal does not interfere the  normal operation of the cable. The more exact fault location is located with smaller transmitter coil.

Tipteck has obtained numerous patents in Finland and in  North America.
